Easy Sculptural Ribbon Rose Brooch
This statement-making ribbon rose brooch is easy to make and adds a fun pop of color – and a hit of spring – to any outfit! The steps are simple: cut a length of wire edge ribbon, tuck and curl one end back and sew onto a piece of buckrum. Then ruche the ribbon by pulling out one end of the wire and pushing the fabric back. With the ribbon ruched, shape into the form of a rose and stitch onto the buckram to hold the shape. Add a pin back and that’s it! No sewing machine required. Find step by step photos and detailed instructions on Dans le Lakehouse.
